STRIKE: There Is Now Reduction in Platinum Fee - Oyo NANS

National Association of Nigerian Students Oyo JCC Axis led by Com. Oluwafunmibi Mayowa Opakunle have expressed displeasure on the ongoing Industrial Strike Action in seven (7) state Tertiary Institutions in Oyo State as regards Platinum Fee amidst others.

In an official press released jointly signed by the axis chairman, Com. Oluwafunmibi Mayowa Opakunle and General Secretary, Com. Ojetola Babatunde Yussuf which is publicized by the Public Relation Officer, Com. Adele Quadri on March 23rd, 2021.


"MATTER ARISING: REDUCTION IN PLATINUM FEE

"United we Stand, Divided we Fall"

"The above named association is delighted to inform the Students Union PRESIDENTs of all State owned tertiary institutions and the students populace affected by the PLATINUM platform, that the service charges of #500 earlier fixed on the process of transactions has been reduced to #300 after rigorous consultation, deliberations and consolidation, and the implementation will take effect as soon as possible, which will not be later than March 31st, 2021.


The POS charges has also been agreed on to varies, based on transactions.


"We hereby appreciate the effort of all SUG PRESIDENTS of the affected institutions and Students at large, for their relentless efforts and supports during this course of consolidation for standing gallantly by us to ensure Victory for the struggle. Thanks for your patience and perseverance throughout the journey.


"We also appreciate all other personnels that are instrumental to the success of this cause, mentioning names might be so long but in fairness of all we sincerely regard you all for standing by us and seeing to achieving this just course.


The SA to the governor on Students matters Hon. Victor Olojede , thanks for your contributions so far. We are in this together, the struggle still continues and we believe you will always be by us.

Truly, together we can achieve better


On this note, we will like to reiterate our stance and commitment to the general interest of the entire Students populace because "it is not over, until it's over", and Let's be of good conduct that we've always been, Moral ethics earns it all.
